
Biography
Jazmin Davis was born and raised in southern California and recently obtained her Bachelors of Fine Arts in Dance from California State University Long Beach (CSULB). Jazmin has trained in many styles of dance including jazz, tap, and contemporary. Over the past couple of years, she has been intensely training in modern, ballet, and choreography. She has had the opportunity to perform in works choreographed by Summer Brown, Queala Clancy, Nate Hodges, Laurel Jenkins, Francesca Jandasek, Keith Johnson, and Andrew Vaca, in addition to guest artist pieces by Mark Morris and Charles Weidman. Other accomplishments include working along side Keith Johnson as rehearsal assistant for "Tales 11.20.19" choreographed by Marjani Forté-Saunders. Jazmin has been a dance instructor for the past four years and is passionate about educating the next generation of dancers, taking the chance to share valuable information she has gathered from her mentors. Jazmin is currently in the process of getting her Pilates certification with a specialization in dance from Body Arts and Science International (BASI) under the direction of Karen Clippinger.
